I'm afraid both Maxence and I absolutely hate Eclipse, do not use it, would probably not even know how to start it. You'll have to rely on the goodwill of our community for help.

Speaking of goodwill, you know what's a really bad way of getting it? Phrasing requests for favors as orders. Try something like "Could anyone give me step-by-step instructions ... please?" next time, I'm sure it'll work a lot better.

Checking Out Through Eclipse

Postby mithungonsalvez » Sat Sep 01, 2007 3:43 pm

Prerequisites:
1. Eclipse (I am using Eclipse 3.3 Europa)

Steps:
1. Open Eclipse
2. Click File-->Import...
3. Select CVS-->Project From CVS and Press 'Next'
4. Give the following Settings :
Host: cvs.mucommander.com
Repository Path: /var/cvsroot
User: cvsread
Password: mucommander (If this has been changed, Get this from http://www.mucommander.com/forums/viewt ... t=password)
Connection Type: extssh (Select this from drop-down box)
5. Click Next
6. Give 'mucommander' as the value for 'Use specified module name:' and click Next
7. You might be asked to click 'Yes' ( because authenticity could not be established), So Click 'Yes', Again Click 'Yes', Again Click 'Yes', Click 'OK' (Phew...)
8. Here select either the first option (Check out as a project configured using the new Project Wizard) or the second option (Check out as a project in the workspace). [I used the second option]
9. Make sure that the 'Checkout Subfolders' is Ticked On.
10. Click Finish.
11. Now it should start downloading the files (This might take a while)

If I understand what you mean, get a large provision of aspirin then. You'll either need to tie in to the system, which is probably not the best solution since muCommander theoretically runs on any Java enabled OS, or write a preview panel for each file type you want to support.
