Remote Access via sftp/smb

The remote access via sftp/smb used to work pretty well but not now. The last working version was v0.8.6 dated 09-Feb-2011. The newer versions just behaved strangely under Windows XP and Ubuntu 11.4. It just would not switch between local and remote folders.

What build it was when it failed?

I could not remember and lost track. The last known working nightly build I have was dated 09-Feb-2011. I happened to find this version on my harddisk when I realised that I have a problem with the newer nightly builds. I believed the next few nightly builds after Feb 09 might be okay.
