Permanently?!

Are the deleted files unrecoverable?
Why not move them to the Trash?

I also find 'Delete' weird…

so I was givin' this little app a try and deleted a file doin' clic on Delete button… a clic and my folder is gone… forever? Geez… I just want to delete some files or folders, not get a nuke hole in my hard disk

I WOULD EXPECT a seamless interaction with us, dumb users behind a nice GUI… but if the 'WHOOPDIEDOO I AM THE KING OF THE WORLD NOW, OR SOMETHING TO THE EFFECT THEREOF… AND YOUR FILE IS FOREVER GONE… DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME TO LOOK FOR IT YOU DUMBA** USER' is kinda heavy…

Don't take it seriously, I am kinda frustated and need to take some vendetta

I totally agree.
The permanent deletion option is good, but under no circumstances
should it be the principal option for a delete key. I suggest another
shortcut for this option (showing a "warning", for ex. "This action
will delete the file from disk, and cannot be undone!") and leave the
F8 key just for moving the files to the trash, which is more logical.

Point taken. However, moving the file to trash is, as far as we could figure out, close to impossible with Java. It's too system dependant, not all systems have it...

If you have some tips on where to find documentation for that, though, we'd love to implement that feature.
