Newbee: how to save FTP password in OSX?

Postby jzn21 » Thu Aug 21, 2008 10:10 am

I finally found muCommander for OSX, a very nice piece of software (where can I donate???)

I have only one prob: if I change the box "save name and password" in the FTP window, it doesn't seem to change anything because the next time I have to enter the PW again. Because I work with 10 sites with dificult PW's I really want to have them saved.

I hope someone can help me out.

I had the same issue on a system running Ubuntu but that probably doesn't matter...
What worked for me was to create a bookmark. The next time i selected the bookmark to connect the server of choice all the credentials where there and i could connect.

Hey guys,

That's definitely a bug, and we've not been able to reproduce it. Can you let me know if it still happens in the latest version of muCommander?

Thanks!
