Drag & Drop In ThunderBird

Postby krtko » Sun Apr 15, 2007 9:40 am

Hi guys,

I have problem using drag and drop from muCommander to Mozilla Thunderbird on Windows (other platform untested).

1. In Thunderbird I create a new message (simply Write, Compose or whatever)
2. Drag a file from muCommander to this window (I'd like to attach this file to the new message)
3. The file is attached, but the name of attachment is slightly different to the usual one
(normally - when attaching files manualy or with drag and drop from explorer - only the filename is displayed, but now is displayed the whole path).
4. When I try to send the message, Thunderbird goest into some kind of endless loop with opened window "Sending message" and status Attaching file D:\....
(well I can press cancel, but that will not send the message :)).

Interesting is, that I can drag and drop this file from muC to explorer normally, and again normally from explorer to Thunderbird. Both works

Using nightly builds of muCommander and Thunderbird v1.5.0.10 (20070221).

Don't know, whether it's problem in muC or Thunderbird, so I tried to post it rather here, since muC is newer app. Hope some of you guys have Thunderbird installed :). There's no hurry to solve this problem, just wanted to post it.
