| CommandBar | CommandBar is the button bar that sits at the bottom of the main window and provides access to main commander actions (view, edit, copy, move...). |
| DrivePopupButton | DrivePopupButton is a button which when clicked pops up a menu with a list of drives and shortcuts which can be used to change the current folder. |
| FolderHistory | This class maintains a history of visited folders for a given panel, and provides methods to go back and go forward in the folder history. |
| FolderPanel | Folder pane that contains the table that displays the contents of the current directory and allows navigation, the drive button, and the location field. |

| MainFrame | This is the main frame, which contains all other UI components visible on a mucommander window. |
| ParentFoldersPopup | This pop up shows the parent folders of the current location in the FileTable. |
| PopupsPopupButton | This button contains the existing pop ups for the FileTable. |
| RecentlyAccessedLocationsPopup | This pop up shows the recently accessed locations from the FileTable. |
| SplashScreen | Splash screen that gets displayed on muCommander startup. |
| StatusBar | StatusBar is the component that sits at the bottom of each MainFrame, between the folder panels and command bar. |
| ToolBar | This class is the icon toolbar attached to a MainFrame, triggering events when buttons are clicked. |
| TrashPopupButton | TrashPopupButton is a button that allows to interact with the current platform's trash, as returned by
DesktopManager.getTrash(). |
| WindowManager | Window Manager is responsible for creating, disposing, switching, in other words managing :) muCommander windows. |
