      extended by java.awt.Container
          extended by javax.swing.JComponent
              extended by javax.swing.JPanel
                  extended by com.mucommander.ui.chooser.IntegerChooser
All Implemented Interfaces:
java.awt.image.ImageObserver, java.awt.MenuContainer, java.io.Serializable, java.util.EventListener, javax.accessibility.Accessible, javax.swing.event.ChangeListener

public class IntegerChooser
extends javax.swing.JPanel
implements javax.swing.event.ChangeListener

Component meant to let users choose an integer value from a specific range.

An IntegerChooser is an compound-component created by associating a JSpinner and a JSlider.

In order to track the chooser's state, listeners can be registered through addChangeListener(ChangeListener).

Constructor Detail

IntegerChooser

public IntegerChooser(int min,
                      int max,
                      int initialValue)
Creates a new integer chooser.

Parameters:
min - chooser's minimum value.
max - chooser's maximum value.
initialValue - chooser's initial value.
Method Detail

setMajorTickSpacing

public void setMajorTickSpacing(int spacing)
This method sets the major tick spacing. The number that is passed-in represents the distance, measured in values, between each major tick mark. If you have a slider with a range from 0 to 50 and the major tick spacing is set to 10, you will get major ticks next to the following values: 0, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50.

setMinorTickSpacing

public void setMinorTickSpacing(int spacing)
This method sets the minor tick spacing. The number that is passed-in represents the distance, measured in values, between each minor tick mark. If you have a slider with a range from 0 to 50 and the minor tick spacing is set to 10, you will get minor ticks next to the following values: 0, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50.

setPaintTicks

public void setPaintTicks(boolean b)
Determines whether tick marks are painted on the slider

setPaintLabels

public void setPaintLabels(boolean b)
Determines whether labels are painted on the slider

setValue

public void setValue(int value)
Determines whether labels are painted on the slider.

getValue

public int getValue()
Returns the chooser's current value.

Returns:
the chooser's current value.

addChangeListener

public void addChangeListener(javax.swing.event.ChangeListener listener)
Registers the specified object as a change listener.

removeChangeListener

public void removeChangeListener(javax.swing.event.ChangeListener listener)
Un-registers the specified object as a change listener.

stateChanged

public void stateChanged(javax.swing.event.ChangeEvent e)
This method is public as an implementation side effect and should never be called directly.

Specified by:
stateChanged in interface javax.swing.event.ChangeListener
